Austrian Embassy in Manila Hosts Lecture on Eco-Social Models and Sustainability

In celebration of 50 years of international cultural work, the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs held a special event at Ateneo de Manila University on October 5, 2023. The event, titled "Imagine Dignity: Eco-Social Models of Life," was organized in partnership with the John Gokongwei School of Management and the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability (AIS).

This public lecture and discussion brought together Austrian and Filipino experts to explore the pressing topics of circular economy, sustainability, innovation, arts, and design. Held at Escaler Hall from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the event provided a platform for thought-provoking exchanges on how eco-social models can contribute to shaping a better and more sustainable world.

Though the event was open to the public, participation was limited, requiring early registration.

It marked a significant moment in promoting cross-cultural dialogue and collaborative efforts towards sustainable solutions for the future.
