Visiting the Singapore Seafood Show

SeaTrace International embarked on an important voyage in September 2023 by participating in the Singapore Seafood Show. The purpose of this event was not only to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable seafood procurement, but also to forge valuable partnerships with prominent organizations such as PTHP, WWF, and SCS.

Alliance-Building for a Sustainable Future

SeaTrace's mission is centered on the promotion of sustainable seafood practices. Our discussion with the Philippine Tuna Handline Partnership (PTHP) reaffirmed our commitment to local fishing communities and responsible procurement. This partnership exemplifies our shared aspiration for a more sustainable seafood industry.

Our interaction with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) strengthened our dedication to environmental preservation and responsible fishing practices. SeaTrace International seeks to contribute to the preservation of our oceans and marine ecosystems by collaborating with WWF.

In addition, our conversations with SCS (Scientific Certification Systems) revealed new avenues for promoting sustainability in the aquaculture industry. SeaTrace's participation in SCS demonstrates our commitment to obtaining and maintaining certifications that assure the highest quality and responsibility standards.

A Prospective Way Forward

SeaTrace International utilized the Singapore Seafood Show to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing. These partnerships with PTHP, WWF, and SCS demonstrate our commitment to having a positive global and local impact on the aquaculture industry.

As SeaTrace International continues its journey towards a more sustainable and responsible seafood future, stay tuned for further updates. Together with our esteemed partners, we are working to make a lasting impact on the way seafood is sourced and enjoyed around the globe.
