Seatrace International Welcomes Fisher Communities for a Learning Visit Program

Seatrace International recently had the honor of hosting a special group of visitors from seven different fishing communities across Subic, Mindoro, and Palawan. The Learning Visit program, initiated by Better Seafood Philippines, provided a platform for these communities to share their experiences and insights into responsible seafood sourcing practices.

Accompanying the group were Mayor Emil Neri and Vice Mayor Ricky Rodriguez of Linapacan, Palawan, who have taken the lead in supporting sustainable fishing efforts in their region. Their commitment to improving local seafood sourcing processes is instrumental in shaping a more responsible and sustainable fishing industry.

At Seatrace International, we were delighted to exchange stories, learn from each other, and explore new opportunities for collaboration. This visit underscores our continued efforts to foster partnerships with local fishing communities and strengthen sustainable seafood practices across the Philippines.
